  1. Homophones confound even professional writers. I cannot count the times I’ve seen them refer to a car’s “breaks” instead of “brakes”.

  2. Brought to you by the same people who believe ‘sex’ is synonymous with ‘gender,’ ‘problem’ is synonymous with ‘issue,’ and the American Indian is native to the Americas.

    On a related topic, am I the only one having a problem (not an “issue”) with remembering to call it the “King’s” English now?
