I knew her story, of course — most Texans of my age do — but I read the whole thing, all the same. And you should, too. We need more like her and fewer of that little Hogg boy from Florida.

Remember the incident but not the details. Thanks for the post and link. Here in MI we have the same issue, legal carry but you can’t take it into any place serving alcohol as part of the menu (or all those idiotic no gun posted places). She makes a damned good case to make self protection the rule of the day no matter other details.
I remember her testifying to Congress after her tragedy, and her damning testimony left Schmuck Schumer speechless for once.
