  1. Oh God, Kim, did that bring back some memories; some wanted, some unwanted.

    I can recall, as a kid of about 10 or 11, my Dad, ex-RAN, singing that to Mum, the one and only love of his life.

    Dad died in 2010 and by then Mum had Alzheimer’s so badly she didn’t really understand what had happened.

    We played that song at his funeral. I cried and Mum fell asleep.

      1. No need to be sorry, mate. It’s a lovely song, and the good memories outweigh the bad.
