  2. Hmmmm. Not terrible, but certainly not great. My criteria for terrible is thus: suppose you’re at a car shop getting new tires (or whatever). And there you are in the waiting room quietly reading Chaucer or playing Angry Birds or however you pass such times, when a song comes through the shop’s speakers. If you don’t feel an urge to get up and take a walk for a few minutes, it’s “not terrible”. If you do, it is. Personally, I wouldn’t leave for this song like I would for a song by, say, Madonna, but I’d be grateful when it was over.

The go-go dancers are worth watching, but not the best (not Lisa Leonard Dalton dancing for the McCoy’s 1975 “Hang on Sloopy” video, or the very energetic tape loop once posted to Youtube with several old songs under the name of “The Dancing Troll”.) Maybe I should watch again to see if it’s better with the sound off…
