  1. If any person were to be called a tranny it would by Jon Voight’s spawn. I have always found her looks repulsive.

  2. Coal is a nasty, dirty fuel source–not Co2, which if it were a problem (and it’s not at these levels) would be fairly easy to deal with. Coal leaves behind all sorts of nasty cr*p in large quantities.

So I’m all for getting rid of coal power plants.

As long as they’re replaced megawatt for megawatt by modern 4th generation nuclear plants.

As to Ms. Jolie’s comment: If you’re a multi-millionaire Cambodia probably IS healthier than Hollywood.

  3. Worked for a Consultant Engineering firm in the Power industry for 20 years. We designed Hydro, Thermal ( Coal and Nat Gas plants). Georgia Power recently started a new Nuke Plant. 1st one in 7 years. The regulatory and permitting process is still the biggest delay and cost component. and it’s getting worse not Better / faster. But yes even with Modern scrubbers and other mitigation coal is still nasty.

but here are your choices: Which do you want?

    Bird Fryers ( Solar ~ 8 % )
    Bird Cuisinarts ( Wind ~~ 5 )
    Fish Cuisinarts ( Hydro 6% )
Everybody dies of lung disease ( Coal 20%)
    Frackig ( Natural Gass 40%
or — we all glow in the dark ( Nukes 20% )

  4. My wife and I adopted an infant girl from Cambodia around the same time AJ did. In fact, we used the same adoption facilitator in Hawaii (who later wound up in jail for a number of crimes). I had the occasion to be in the same room with AJ a couple of times as a result of that. She clearly exists on a different plane, if not an entirely different universe. I had no interaction with her, just observations. Best I can say is that after watching “Girl Interrupted” I don’t think she had to stretch too far to get in that character.

  5. Regarding the muzzie who became a zippo, (can’t say human zippo), what exactly was their message? Could a bunch of his brethren, say a few million of them, reenact the activity so that we could understand their message? Aside from some ash, the world would be an improvement.

We need to bring back the days of firearms being available at most hardware stores and regular weekly firearms matches.

    1. Amen – and one step more. As I’ve aged and watched the decay of civil society, I think any non-felon of legal age should be able to buy a gun in any hardware store (as it was when I bought my first at age 16 in a hardware store), go to prison for a long time for felonious use of said gun, but people should have to get a permit with stringent qualifications to have a child.
IOW, place serious value on responsibility.
