Imagine you’re a people like the South Syrian Arabs who (barely) populated the region between the Jordan and the sea a hundred years ago. Suddenly, pioneer Zionists start showing up and offering money for your crappy bits of desert. Next thing you know, the Jewish-run parts are turning green with forests and lush with crops, and modern cities spring up out of almost nowhere. Meanwhile, the Arab-run parts remain pretty much as arid and worthless as they ever were, only more crowded.
There’s a whole host of reasons why that happened, but those “thieving” Jews A) didn’t steal anything and B) are only barely responsible for your woes.

After some searching I found a Muslim-majority country that is not an absolute sh*th*le namely Emirates. Also a bud who runs a crypto mining host facility in Kuwait says that it is not a total loss. They say that Albania is good in parts. OTOH Muslim countries host six out of twenty-four of this year’s Formula One Grand Prix which is jolly decent of them.

Look at how all of those Muslim countries treat minorities and women. It’s utterly disgusting. Western Civilization abolished slavery, gave women the right to vote and more and even tolerates sexual deviants. If it weren’t for petroleum reserves, that entire region would be ignored by the world.

Most recently the Allied Generals in WW2 liked requisitioning palaces as their headquarters in their march across France. Eisenhower was using a palace as his headquarters when the Germans decided to surprise everyone for a fourth time by coming through the Ardenne for the Battle of the Bulge.

One thing: The Zionists were generally not buying land from the residents, because most of those residents were sharecroppers. The Zionist money was going to absentee landlords as far away as Istanbul. This should still have been good news for the sharecroppers, because (1) the Zionists weren’t buying the land they farmed and kicking them out, but rather buying the much cheaper land that was not being used at all, and (2) the Zionists’ successes created lots of jobs, at quite good pay for the area. The Arab sharecroppers could have worked for their new neighbors, saved up enough money to buy a “worthless” patch of land of their own, and learned from the Jews how to make it bloom.
Except they were Arabs, so instead of learning from the new neighbors’ successes, most turned green with envy and began plotting to kill the Jews and steal their wealth. (Not all – there were residents that took advantage of the new economy and kept peace with their Jewish neighbors right through the outbreak of open war in 1948. Their descendants still live in Israel, and although they can’t vote are not only better off than the other “Palestinians”, but better off than most Arabs and Muslims in Arab and Muslim nations.) A lot of other Arabs moved into the province for those jobs – but eventually they were also envious and plotting…
