So speaking of cash:

...which, to my mind, is a thing we should be celebrating, not deploring.

...unless this plan involves mines, barbed wire and machine-gun towers, it’ll fail like all the others and I’m not interested.

...also, unless they’ve been issued with live ammunition, I don’t care.

...as much as the Church tries to suppress human nature, it finds a way.  None of this would happen if Catholic priests were allowed to marry.

...given the quality of women in the dating pool nowadays, it’s a losing cause, Bubba.

...gun controllers lie.  In other news, Custer having problems in Wyoming.

...and neither are the (vast) silent majority of car owners.

...never mind a new trial, this murderous little fuck should long ago have shared space on the gallows with OJ Simpson.

...key word:  France.

...nor should he, just for saying what millions of people also think.

...Chinese sportsmen corrupted by gambling interests… see Custer news, above.

...South Africa wins again.  Kill it with fire.

From the Women’s Section in INSIGNIFICA:

And getting back to our regular Paige Three section:

And a couple others:

Can we have Too Much Paige?  I don’t think so.

And that’s it for the post-Christmas car.

  1. Despite of (or one could argue because of) the long prison sentences in the US the US is also leading the world in recidivism.
No other country sees as high a degree of “revolving door criminals” as does the USA, in no small part because former inmates have next to no chance of finding an honest job after release, and because the prison gangs rule the prisons and demand allegiance even after release, forcing people to drift ever deeper into ever more serious crimes just to stay alive after getting out of prison.

  2. >>”None of this would happen if Catholic priests were allowed to marry.”

IMO, there is a ton of merit to that. Allowing priests to marry would create a seminary candidacy pool that is more normal looking, selecting more for authentic call to divinity than for will to power and ability to suppress, sublimate or redirect perfectly natural social and sexual drives.

As it stands, the selection/filter funnel that leads to the priesthood specifically DEselects anyone drawn to divinity who is of normal sexual interests and libido. Young Catholic men are indoctrinated that God call them to ONE of the following: Marriage, celibacy, or Holy Orders. Unshockingly, confused gay men who feel the pull of divinity are waaaay over represented in the seminaries. They figure their disinterest in women + interest in matter of Spirit = Holy Orders.

Many sort it out, eventually, and with great drama internal and external, and very little sympathy or support from their religious institutions or society. (Sidebar: gay people who don’t feel the call to divinity, and heteros who don’t feel called to marriage are both explicity thrown into the default celibacy bucket, instructed to do nothing with their sexuality and therefore starve, growing distorted and strange. And the fools wonder why they’ve lost traction with modern society. )

Sorting that out, the correct level of sympathy and support a society should have for those whose sexual interests involve consenting adults of various descriptions is something the Rightiest parts of the Right really needs to come to grips with, and is a much larger topic than can be discussed here. Suffice it to say: getting it wrong leaves our Progressivist Adversaries too much material to form a wedge to play against the middle with. Getting it right both does such people justice, and deprives the adversary of toys and tools.

  3. Paige Spiranac sure warms up on the heart on cold winter days.

I’d say many sentences in the United States are not long enough considering the recidivism rate. Far too many criminals see it as a way to learn to tips and tricks of their trade. Prisons are far too easy with food, television etc. Work them every day for long hours until they are far too exhausted to cause any mischief in prison.

Some of the young women I worked with in healthcare would relate their social lives in the lunch room and I did my best to ignore their whining about finding “the right guy.” Quite a few of them had a string of losers they auditioned then wondered why they couldn’t find a decent man. It’s not rocket science. Act like a pile of shit you attract flies. I feel sorry for the younger generation of men.

The fact of the matter is that electric vehicles are nothing more than glorified golf carts. They might be fine for short trips in an urban area but they are not suitable for long trips or towing anything. They don’t have the range the capacity and they take far too long to recharge. The Batteries don’t keep their charge in cold weather. Furthermore, they put far too much demand on the electrical system since the green weenies refuse to build new reliable power plants.

Peterson and OJ should have ridden the lightning of ole sparky decades ago.

  4. Some of it would happen even if priests were allowed to marry. Married people are not all monogamous, men or women.

    1. Yes. As an Orthodox Priest explained once, They are allowed to marry so long as they are married before they take religious orders. This is because it is considered unseemly for a priest to be dating. Of course, the Pastor at the Methodist Church that sponsored my Boy Scout Troop was told explicitly to not date the young women in the singles group he was in charge of. That order went out the window when he met his future wife.
