A bang stick is effective against sharks and commies if they get too close.
I’d prefer using a longer range boomstick on commies. Don’t want to get their blood splattered on you. You never know what diseases they’re carrying.

I always wanted to take a bang stick to those damn boom boxes when I rode the NYC subways in the 70’s.
