We get paid every two weeks here at my office. Today is Good Friday. Next friday will be Passover.

Hmm, today is Good Friday, Sunday is Easter, and tonight begins Passover which ends April 7.
I think you got it correct. Of course my Seminary Training ended 48 years ago, so the world might have changed a bit. God does work in mysterious ways, I’ve heard. And if “the whole world is in his hands..” he has quite a mess squirming around his fingers I hope He can clean it up soon.
And happy “steakhouses are all relatively empty of mackerel snappers” day to you. All my non Catholic friends are enjoying the lack of friday crowds at the better steak joints.
