Decades ago, before I met the lovely Mrs D, I was in a long-term relationship with a jealous woman. If I’d been getting half as much on the side as she accused me of getting I not only wouldn’t have been able to walk, I’d have had calluses on my manhood. Which was funny, because she kept me around by convincing me no other woman would want me, so just WHERE was all this extraneous pudenda supposed to be coming from?
Well you know what, eventually I DID cheat on her, right before I kicked her ass to the curb. Because if you’re going to make me miserable with punishments for things I didn’t do, you just might find me doing those things.
So go ahead, call me deplorable, or a fascist, or racist, or sexist or violent. Tell me the world would be better off without me. Tell me that all men, or all whites, or all Christians should be killed.
Make me miserable. Make me an outcast in my own nation. Punish me for things I didn’t do.

If the American Right were half as nasty as we’re portrayed, there wouldn’t BE an American Left. The same woman I mention above used to enjoy kicking men (including me) in the shins if they said something she didn’t like, and the only reason she didn’t end up on her ass with a bloody nose is because men of my generation were taught not to hit women. She did her best to override that teaching.

Well, it’s a bit past National Ammo Day, but I just secured 250 rounds of 130 gr. Norma Match Premium in 6.5 Creedmore.
Because a week ago, I also scored a Thompson Center “Compass” in said caliber at Academy. After all discounts and rebates, it’s just barely over $200 for the rifle with it’s 3 shot, 1 MOA guarantee.
Of course, I’ll plonk a Gen II, Vortex Viper PST scope atop the thing, which will quintuple the value of the rig.
The “why” of it all, though.

Not to be a scold, but I believe National Ammo Day is celebrated November 19th, since it became an official “day” in 2010 (nationaltoday.com) It began as a grassroots observance about 2002.
With all that’s been happening this year, ammo is a little scarce, but keep looking for what you want/need. Eventually you’ll find it.
