  1. The British Schools (overseas) you and I attended in our youth no longer exist.All male teachers and the headmaster were WWII veterans and two in my case WWI & II. The ladies were of similar generation and had zero tolerance for insolence, My knuckles still cringe when I see an oak yardstick with brass end caps.

    I shudder to contemplate what the current faculty might look like. Chelsea rangers and effeminate men that can’t spell? Sigh!

    Mine happens to be celebrating 115 years since founding this year. Won’t be visiting seeing as it is a 9 hour flight (not counting delays and other frustrations).
